Standard only in name, each cabin includes complimentary snacks and drinks, a full kitchenette, king bedroom, separate living area, and a private outdoor patio. Choose between two floor plans, featuring either a walk-in shower or a soaking tub. With south-facing porches overlooking the creek, your nature escape is set to impress.

Nestled in Lockhart’s Main Springs micro-district, each of our eight cabins was intentionally designed to offer secluded comfort and elevated touches—as a kid-free property, it is ideal for solo escapes, romantic getaways, or exclusive full-property retreats for up to 16 adults.
Situated on the remains and ruins of an old cement batch plant along the Leona aquifer, we have always seen the possibilities of how this under-utilized land could breathe new life into this neighborhood.

What was once considered a forgotten wasteland is now a revived sanctuary—thoughtfully brought back to life as part of a broader conservation effort. Just three blocks from the vibrant Lockhart city square, our property was envisioned as a place where both locals and visitors could slow down, stay a little longer, and reconnect with the land.
With the support of Lake | Flato, this vision took shape through the creation of sustainably designed, luxuriously appointed cabins that offer a low-impact, high-comfort nature escape. Today, eight guest units—housed within four modern cabins—sit quietly nestled among tall, private trees, offering both seclusion and serenity.
Guests are invited to explore the property’s unique blend of history and nature, where remnants of old concrete ruins meet freshwater springs and a visible waterfall—features once overlooked, now transformed into highlights of the experience.

Yes, The Leona is an adults-only retreat. All guests must be 21 years of age or older.

The Leona is a family owned and operated property. Due to the small size of our facility, cancellations can greatly affect our business. Therefore, we must uphold our cancellation policy without exception.
Please verify your travel plans before confirming your booking. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
• If you cancel 10 days or less prior to your confirmed arrival date, no refund will be issued, and you will be responsible for the entire reservation amount.
• If you cancel 11 days or more prior to your confirmed arrival date, your deposit will be refunded in full minus a $35 cancellation fee which will be charged to the credit card on file.
• Refunds will not be issued for no shows, late arrivals, early departures, or cancellations made within 10 days of the scheduled arrival date regardless of the circumstances. There are no exceptions to this policy, including illness, family emergencies, or inclement weather.
